The Harmon ReDevelopment Group was founded on a simple but urgent belief: everyone deserves access to safe, quality, and affordable housing.
Our founder, Eboni Harmon, recognized early on the direct connection between living conditions and overall well-being. Through both personal experience and professional development, she saw how neglected and underserved neighborhoods often lacked the investment needed to support thriving communities.
Motivated to be part of the solution, Eboni established The Harmon ReDevelopment Group to focus on revitalizing communities through high-quality, affordable housing development.
The Harmon ReDevelopment Group is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, established in Michigan and focused on Detroit's underserved neighborhoods. We are currently advancing on a 50-unit mixed-affordability, mixed-use housing development in Detroit's Islandview / Greater Villages corridor — a City-designated Strategic Neighborhood Fund area.
We are a member of CEDAM and READ. We are actively building our development team and advisory network and targeting a 9% LIHTC application in the April 2027 funding round.
Our Vision
We are committed to expanding access to housing while contributing to the long-term improvement of the communities we serve.
As we grow, our vision extends beyond individual developments to supporting more cohesive, well-designed, and sustainable neighborhoods over time.
We believe every family deserves access to a safe, affordable home in a neighborhood with real opportunity. This project is the first step in a longer commitment to Detroit.
